We had our first service in our new church home today - Feb. 22. It is perfect - peaceful, warm and just so nice to be back in our Lord's home. El Paso congregation donated their sign - a big thank you to them. Again thank you, Mission Center, for your support. We will be having our dedication service soon - we do hope you can come.

John 3:16 Window Washing (Wash windows for the elderly)

Support local Food Cupboard and Snyder Neighbor Sharing
(Which helps repair, paint, etc. homes of the needy)

Great news - we sign for our new church tomorrow, Wed {February 18, 2009}. Below are some pictures of our new building. It sits on a large lot - 150 by 160. Plenty of off-street parking. Our new church home is a two bedroom, one bath mobile home. We are very excited about our new church home. We will be hosting a dedication service soon - we will send out invitations - we do hope all of you can come. We have already met one neighbor. We plan to set up a classroom for children to be ready for any new visitors. We are also taking our Heralds to church - we will use the lesson in the Herald if new visitors come in and give them the Herald to take home. We thought this might be a good missionary tool to give our visitors as it shows all the things our church does.

Elvis surveyed our property for us - I've included pictures of him and Glenn - we helped him. We have Wilbur and Bonnie's three grandsons coming to visit {See pics}- so they are going to help us move our piano into our new church home... We want to thank El Paso congregation for donating their sign to our new home. Again we also want to thank everyone in the Mission Center for supporting us in acquiring this new church home. We do hope you will come to visit us at our dedication service. Glenn Burns

We started to move into our new church home. Three of my nephews, (Justin from Missouri, Paco and Emo from Las Cruces) were here in Snyder and helped us moved our piano into our new church home. What a blessing - all here in Snyder needed the help. These are some pictures of the task - as you can see it was a challenge. We have been so blessed. Also above, are the 5 of us standing in front of our new church home. Also a picture of the fine young men, with Lavern, Elvis and Glenn who all helped moved this piano into our new home. - Jean Burns
